Not having much luck with Goodreads.

My Kindle profile is unable to be read across to Goodreads, message from Support…

‘Thanks for reporting the issue. There are a small percentage of Kindle users that just don’t seem to sync, even if their settings are correct. Unfortunately, it’s looking like you fit into that category. Our developers are currently working on this problem, so stay tuned. Sorry for any inconvenience.’

Then I have the ‘Catch 22’ of a lot of the books I’ve scanned are coming up with ‘Not on Goodreads’ but if I try to add them in myself I’m told I have to be a librarian to be able to add books, and you can’t be one until you have 50 books on your shelf… so I have to try and find 50 books that the system knows about before I can add the rest!

Then the iOS app completely died on me this morning, I had to to a hard reset on the iPod Touch to bring it back to life.

I scanned in 5 books that the system recognised this morning, and submitted them, looked at ‘My books’ on the website… only one of the five books is there!

Tell me this can’t get worse? It seems a lot of unwanted hassle to me. Are there any other sites that are better than Goodreads?
